2010 Annual Meeting Announcement

In accordance with National Credit Union Administration (NCUA)-approved bylaws, the North Carolina Community Federal Credit Union’s Chairman of the Board, Edward E. Farris, has announced that the 2010 Annual Meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 15, 2010 in the Main Lobby of 2401 East Ash Street, Goldsboro. The business meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. The 2010 Nominating Committee, pursuant to the above-noted bylaws, has nominated the following candidates for the four open seats on the Board for three year terms:

Anne Millington—Wayne Community College; Chairperson of NCCFCU Supervisory Committee
Faye Reeves—City of Goldsboro, HR Department
Dr. Cindy Wiley—Wayne Dental Center, Orthodontics
Stu Cox—SJAFB, Base Commander’s Office; currently filling vacant position on NCCFCU Board of Directors

Nominations for vacancies may also be submitted to the Nominating Committee by NCCFCU members eligible to vote in credit union elections through a petition signed by a minimum of 500 NCCFCU members eligible to vote in credit union elections. Each petitioner must submit a statement of qualifications and biographical data with the petition. Petitions must be submitted to the Secretary of the Board of Directors, 2401 East Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC 27534 no later than 11:59 PM, March 9, 2010. All nominees must submit a signed certificate stating that they are agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected to office.

Operating Hours Changing

Effective February 1, 2010 our hours of operation will change at the Main Branch office at 2401 East Ash Street, Goldsboro. The new hours will be Monday through Friday Lobby hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and the Drive-thru will be open until 5:30 p.m. on Thursdays and 6:00 p.m. on Fridays.

*Hours of operation at the SJAFB and the Mount Olive Branch will not change*
