Do you want to give your home a facelift without breaking the bank? Change is always good for your mental health and even your body and soul. Here are a few little tips to update and redecorate on a low budget that looks expensive:
Backsplash, Yes Please
Use peel and stick flooring on a wall to upgrade your kitchen or any wall for that matter. Marble is so in and easy to find or try small subway tiles in the bathroom.
Paint Your Pillows
Fabric paint is fairly inexpensive and a good way to repurpose your old pillows. Paint bright colors or neat patterns to spice it up a little. You can add buttons to plain pillows or recover them with a fabric you love as well.
Shiplap On A Budget
Use precut plywood (this method is much cheaper because you won’t have to cut it, saving you time and money). Use a hammer and nails instead of buying a nail gun. Get your favorite stain or paint from Walmart, their stain and paint are much cheaper than any home improvement store and the quality is just as good.
DIY Curtains
You can always find twin sheets for a lot cheaper than some curtains, just sew one long loop into it or find another fabric to make individual loops on the top for your current curtain rods. Mix it up even more by putting an arched curtain rod up.
