Your Community Foundation

Our Community

Established in August 2019, Your Community Foundation was formed in response to the needs and resource deficiency affecting the community of Wayne County. For more than 60 years, Your NC Community Credit Union has steered programs aided in the relief and empowerment of individuals and families that reside in our community. Your Community Foundation is an extension of NCCFCU efforts and community support, established over six decades ago.

By partnering with local organizations and providing support to current local plans geared to revitalize, we aim to collectively increase the number of available resources, tools, and educational hubs to help alleviate poverty and raise awareness amongst underserved areas in our community. Your NC Community Credit Union’s core is rooted in establishing an environment that supports the growth of our member’s financial success and wellness. Your Community Foundation was created to transcend our outreach efforts, and be a leading example of what local support can accomplish.

We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, donations made are tax-deductible.

4 Day Movement

The 4 Day Movement, Inc. is on a mission to help people who are struggling by harnessing the power of community, social connections, and faith-based organizations to provide for short-term fundamental human needs. We serve people who have fallen on difficult times and need a helping hand to avoid falling through the cracks and facing additional compounding obstacles. Each case is served through a “four day movement” by joining grassroots networks, volunteers and existing resources.

Support Military Families (SMF)

When you support SMF you are supporting Dr. Steven and Diane Rumley’s commitment to provide annual appreciation care packages for military spouses and their children. For over 10 years, the Rumleys have faithfully shared Christ’s love with military families through the various donations and services of SMF. Some of these include: special events, and care packages containing items of encouragement including a Bible. Support Military Families is now the largest Christian non-profit organization for spouses and children of military members.
